Binibining Pilipinas names 2025 queens at 61st Grand Coronation Night
The latest batch of Binibining Pilipinas queens was unveiled at the pageant’s 61st Grand Coronation Night on June 15, 2025 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.
Katrina Anne Johnson from Davao Province took home the Binibining Pilipinas International 2025 title, while Annabelle Mae McDonnell from Iligan City was named Binibining Pilipinas Globe 2025. Both took home P1 million pesos each, a crown designed by Manny Halasan, and other prizes from sponsors.
Meanwhile, Dalia Varde Khattab from Las Pinas finished as first runner-up, and Kathleen Enid Espenido from Siargao secured second runner-up. Both took home P400,000 each, a crown designed by Manny Halasan, and other prizes from sponsors.
Former Binibining Pilipinas queens – Binibining Pilipinas Grand International 2016 Nicole Cordoves, Binibining Pilipinas Universe 2014 MJ Lastimosa, Miss Globe 2021 Maureen Montagne, and Miss International 2016 Kylie Versoza – returned to host the highly-anticipated.
Comprising this year's panel of judges were Urban Smiles Dental Clinic President Dr. Ralph Figaroa Delas Alas, Binibining Pilipinas International 1986 Alice Dixon, Miss International 2024 Thanh Thuy, Movie and Television Review and Classification Board Chairperson Lala Sotto, Miss Globe 2024 Diana Moreno, Filipino fashion designer Francis Libiran, and BPCI Executive Director Conchita Sevilla-Bernardo.
All 36 candidates showcased their pasarela in the swimsuit and evening gowns before the top 14 semifinalists were determined. Binibining Pilipinas Intercontinental 2015 Christi McGarry graced and served as the event’s DJ at the opening number and swimsuit competition, while the PPop royalty SB19 serenaded the Binibinis during the evening gown competition with their hit songs “Moonlight” and “I Want You.” Khattab was named best in swimsuit, while Johnson was named best in evening gown.
McDonnell is set to represent the Philippines at the Miss Globe pageant this year, while Johnson will get ready for the Miss International pageant next year.
